The flotsam detector lets you locate unique neo capsules in water. These capsules contain not only commodities and resources, they also hold extraordinary rewards such as experience points (EP), a better than even chance at scoring some Helix and Jackpot cash, and a number of other goodies.
Your detector is automatically activated upon purchase; no other action on your part is required. The detector is active up to and including level 15. Once you move beyond that level, the detector will be deactivated automatically and deleted from your inventory.
